«வாஅழ்க» பிழை அல்ல — செய்யுள் ஓசைக்காக நெடிலை நீட்டி எழுதும் அளபெடை. ஓதும்போது «வா–அழ்க» என்று ஒரு மாத்திரை கூடுதலாக நீண்டு ஒலிக்கும்.«வாஅழ்க» is not a misprint — it is alapedai, the classical way of writing a stretched vowel: the long aa is held for an extra beat when recited.

நாமார்க்குங் குடியல்லோம் நமனை யஞ்சோம் … இன்பமே எந்நாளுந் துன்ப மில்லை
